The first ever KPop cover group concert in the country, KPop Coalesce, is coming back with its second installment, the KPop Coalesce 2, at St. Mary’s College Auditorium, Quezon City on January 10, 2016.
KPop Coalesce is the first brainchild event of Link-Up Productions. While the event has a striking name, there are a number who did not get what it actually meant. “To bring together for a common purpose,” Link-Up Productions explained on their Facebook page that on their second year, they still aim to “coalesce” people of different backgrounds with common interests to interact and enjoy Korean pop culture.
KPop Coalesce 2 will feature cover group competitions and performances from known personalities such as Dasuri Choi and different local award-winning cover groups. Richard Juan, popularly known as a regular housemate of Pinoy Big Brother 737 and a contestant of Eat Bulaga’s “You’re My Foreignoy,” and Phoi Chan, member of H3AT, the grand champion of the Filipino-Korean Cultural Festival 2011 Talent Category, will be the hosts of the event.
Interestingly, KPop Coalesce 2 will also be Link-Up Production’s first year anniversary celebration! Fortunately, KStreetManila will be there to cover this event and celebrate this Philippine KPop community milestone! So watch out for pictures and interviews with your favorite cover groups and cosplayers!
Again, the event is brought to you by Link-Up Productions and ticket price is PHP 250. If you have questions, you may visit Link-Up Productions’ Facebook page or contact them at +63977-307-5936. You may also want to visit its official Facebook Event page.
