GFriend showcase in Manila set this September

Award-winning rookie girl group Gfriend will be holding their “L.O.L” album showcase in Manila on September 4, 2016 at the Theatre at Solaire.

The event, dubbed as “GFriend L.O.L Manila Showcase 2016” is organized by Three Angles Production, the same organizer that will bring Seventeen on August 14 and 15. It is expected to last for 100 minutes with ticket prices pegged at PHP 6,000 (VVIP), PHP 4,500 (VIP), and PHP 3,000 (Premium). VVIP ticket holders are given a chance for a high-touch event or a group photo-op with the girls.

GFriend is composed of six members, namely Eunha, SinB, Sowon, Umji, Yerin, and Yuju. They debuted on January 15, 2015 with their promotional track “Glass Bead” followed by their second EP “Flower Bud” with the title track “Me Gustas Tu.” This year, they released their third EP “Snowflake” with the title track “Rough,” completing their high school concept trilogy. Last June 29, they had their first studio album “L.O.L” with their title track “Navillera.”

Since their debut, GFriend has received several awards, some of which include Best New Artist at the Seoul Music Awards, Rookie of the Year at the Golden Disk Award, and Best New Artist (Female) at the MelOn Music Awards.
