PH fans end summer season with vibrant ‘KPop Summer Solstice 2’

Filipino fans gathered at the Quezon Memorial Circle on August 7, 2016 to celebrate the end of summer with “K-Pop Summer Solstice 2,” a season-ender event organized by Link-Up Productions.

Just like Link-Up’s previous events, “KPop Summer Solstice 2” proved to be another wonderful venue for interaction and fun among Filipino K-Pop fans. There were friendly competitions for dance cover, cosplay, and singing, as well as fashion show and ulzzang contest segments. Special guests also performed at the event including Eat Bulaga’s “You’re My Foreignay” second runner-up Dasuri Choi, Pinoy K-Pop Star 2015 Champion Se-Eon, Cypher, Outcast, and Amigo, among many others.

The highlight of the event was the formal launch of Link-Up Production’s awareness campaign, Link-Up Cares. Selected boys (called “KPop Cuties”) and girls (called “Link-Up Muses”), chosen through online nomination, shall act as ambassadors of this awareness campaign. Proceeds of the event shall be used for a feeding program mission.

The list of winners are posted on Link-Up Production’s Facebook page.

KStreetManila would like to thank Link-Up Productions for giving us a chance to cover this event.
