BTOB coming back to Manila for October fan meeting

South Korean boy group BTOB is coming back to Manila for their first fan meeting in the Philippines at The Theatre at Solaire on October 29, 2016.

The announcement was first posted by BTOB Philippines on their Facebook page on September 13, followed by the release of the event’s poster by SJ Entertainment today, September 14.

Composed of seven members namely Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon, and Sungjae, BTOB, which stands for “Born to Beat,” debuted in 2012 and has been one of the leading K-Pop boy groups in the industry.

Since their debut BTOB had released EPs or mini-albums which include popular singles “Born To Beat,” “Wow,” “Thriller,” and “Beep Beep,” among many others. It was not until 2015 when the group had their first studio album called “Complete” which contained 13 tracks and was promoted through its title song “It’s Okay.” The group has has won several awards, the most recent of which include the 2015 KBS Music Festival Singer of the Year, 2016 Golden Disk Award Best Vocal Group, and 2016 Seoul Music Awards Ballad Award.

This is not the first time BTOB has visited the Philippines. In 2014, BTOB went to Manila for Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert 2 together with artists Super Junior-M, BAP, Block B, A-Jax, and A Prince. The following year, in 2015, they returned for another concert festival, Best of Best in the Philippines, together with Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, and Red Velvet.

For more information about BTOB’s showcase, you may visit SJ Entertainment’s Facebook page, BTOB Philippines’ Facebook page, or go to the official Facebook events page. Tickets are available at Ticketworld.
