K-Pop groups AOA, BTOB, B.A.P, B1A4, CN Blue, SHINee and PSY are set to be part of the 2017 Global Peace Concert One K in Manila on March 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena at 7PM, as announced by All Access Productions.
The concert is part of an effort to seek global support for unification. The One-K Global Campaign Organizing Committee, consisting of 850 domestic NGOs including Action for Korea United, started the civic-led unification movement One-K Global Campaign in 2015. In order to draw more people in, the group organized a unification-themed concert on September 10, 2015, which included several K-Pop artists.
This year, One-K expanded its campaign on a global scale by collaborating with internationally renowned producers such as Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis and American singer-songwriter, Peabo Bryson and various acts from South Korea to produce the “One K Global Campaign” song. The Global Peace website describes the new single as “The song of hope for Korean reunification and world peace will reverberate in every corner of the world.”
The global tour will kick off in the Philippines on March 2 2017, after the single’s release. The other concert stops include the United States, China, and Japan, among other countries.
Tickets are now available at all SM Tickets Outlets. Ticket prices are as follows: P9000, P6000, P5000, P3000, {1500 (excluding ticketing charge). Perks are also given to SVIP ticket holder. For more information about these perks, visit All Access Production’s official Facebook page.
