#ChallengesOfAKdramaFan tops Twitter trends on Maundy Thursday evening

It’s the Holy Week! And Filipinos get a long weekend spent for Visita Iglesia, summer vacation, and binge-watching TV series—Korean dramas included. Which probably explains why the hashtag #ChallengesOfAKdramaFan trended, claiming the top spot on Twitter on Maundy Thursday evening, April 13.

The hashtag seemed to have started from user @AnnyeongOppa, a popular Filipino social media icon for Korean pop culture.

From there, the hashtag caught on with the fans and they began using the same hashtag to express their personal struggles when watching Korean dramas. Here are some of our favorite picks because honestly, they’re just relatable.
