BTS now top K-Pop act in Billboard PH chart, EXO makes debut

BTS has taken over the top K-Pop spot in Billboard PH’s Hot 100 chart, a position previously held by Chanyeol X Punch’s ‘Stay With Me,’ original soundtrack from the popular Korean drama ‘Goblin.”

BTS’ ‘FIRE (불타오르네)’ is now at number 22, jumping 20 spots from its previous ranking at number 42. ‘Stay With Me’ has dropped to 27, previously at 21.

Meanwhile, EXO’s newest single ‘Ko Ko Bop’ makes its debut in the same chart, ranking at number 53. This is the first time EXO has entered the chart.

Other artists who are in the chart are TWICE, UP10TION, and Red Velvet.

All rankings are reflected on Billboard PH’s latest Hot 100 chart released yesterday, August 14, which measures the most popular international and local songs across all genres using data from Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music as compiled by Nielsen Music.
