SM provides separate venue for fans to pay last respect to SHINee’s Jonghyun

Following the confirmation of the passing of SHINee’s Jonghyun, SM Entertainment arranged a separate place for fans to be able to pay their final respects in accordance with Jonghyun’s family’s wishes.

In an announcement posted on SHINee’s official website, a separate location will be given to their fans “who has shared many cherished memories together.” Fans can enter the funeral at the first floor, Room 3 of the Seoul Asan Hospital starting December 19 at 12:00 PM KST.

Jonghyun was found unconscious in a residence on December 18 evening and was immediately rushed to the hospital. He was eventually reported dead. Police suspect it was death by suicide but the matter is still being investigated. SM Entertainment confirmed hours after the initial reports were released that the singer passed away and requested the public to avoid speculations. Fans and celebrities alike have expressed their deepest condolences.
