FDA wants you to stop using these K-Beauty products

If you are using Korean beauty products, here is a heads-up: Some of these products contain dangerous levels of a chemical that could affect your health.

Following this discovery, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of South Korea issued an advisory that these products contain “dangerous levels of antimony.” The Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a ban on these products early last week.

Exposure to high levels of antimony can lead to negative health effects such as skin irritation, headaches, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, and abdominal pain.
