Is MOMOLAND out of UAAP Season 81 opening? Confused fans ask

Fans are now confused whether popular Korean girl group MOMOLAND is going to perform at the opening of UAAP Season 81 on September 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

On August 19, it was announced that MOMOLAND will highlight the opening of the annual collegiate sports event. However, fans noticed that the announcement posted on SM Tickets was already deleted.

Similarly, tweets from the National University (the host school for Season 81) and the Mall of Asia have been removed.

All these came after it was revealed that MOMOLAND will also be attending an event called Hallyu Pop Fest 2018 in Singapore on September 7 and 8. The girls will be at the Evening Concert on September 7 and at the Showcase on September 8. Below are the screenshots from the Hallyu Pop Fest 2018 official website:

A local fanbase has already announced that MOMOLAND is no longer attending the opening, however, there is no official announcement yet released from any reputable source.

As of writing time, there has been no clarification issued by SM Tickets, Mall of Asia, the National University, or MOMOLAND.
