K-Pop act to join UAAP Season 81 Opening Ceremony -local organizer

In tweets posted Thursday afternoon, PULP Live World’s Happee Sy confirmed that there will be a K-Pop act to grace the UAAP Season 81 Opening Ceremony on September 8.

Posted on her Twitter account, PULP Live World will be “sharing some KPop lovin'” on September 8 at the UAAP Season 81 Opening Ceremony. The name of the artist was not yet revealed.

Ticket prices range between PHP 75 and PHP 400, with Happee noting that “this UAAP will make history by being the cheapest way to see a K-Idol.” This will be the first time a K-Pop act will join the country’s most popular intercollegiate sports event.

A few weeks ago, the host university for this season, National University, announced that MOMOLAND will be attending the opening ceremony. However, all announcements on social media were deleted following MOMOLAND’s appearance at another K-Pop event in Singapore on September 7 and 8. Since then, no clarification has been issued.

Moreover, Happee previously announced the list of dates of K-Pop events she will be organizing for 2018. One of the dates was September 8, the only remaining undisclosed event.
