WATCH: Mapua Cardinals Dance To BLACKPINK’s “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du”

As a way of gathering hype and showing support for the athletes competing in the NCAA, Mapua University held a pep rally on August 7. One of the pep rally’s highlights was seeing the Mapua Cardinals dancing to BlackPink’s “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du.”

The video, posted by 12 Minutes podcast co-host and NCAA courtside reporter Ceej Tantengco, was uploaded on August 9. Tantengco, who hosted the pep rally, describes the video as “the basketball and K-Pop crossover I didn’t know I needed!”

We are so attending pep rallies if it means seeing popular student-athletes dancing to our favorite K-Pop songs.

We wish the Mapua Cardinals and the rest of the competing NCAA teams all the best of luck this season!
