New Korean zombie movie “Rampant” to premiere in PH on October 25

Zombies during Korea’s Joseon dynasty? This is definitely not your typical zombie movie.

“Rampant” (original title: 창궐 which literally means, ‘Outbreak’) stars Hyun Bin (My Name is Kim Sam Soon, Secret Garden) and Jang Dong Gun (All About Eve, A Gentleman’s Dignity, Suits) in a historical zombie action movie to be shown in South Korea on October 25.

The Philippines is fortunate to share the same premiere date as announced in the Rampant Philippines Facebook page.

From the makers of the international zombie blockbuster hit, “Train to Busan,” the film focuses on Lee Ching (Hyun Bin), who was a political hostage for ten years, but made his return to the Joseon nation when summoned by his brother and now Crown Prince, Lee Young. As the greatest martial artist in the world, Lee Ching is now tasked to fight against Night Demons that plague the nation.

“Rampant” is distributed locally by Rafaella Films International.
