LOOK: Pinoy makes it to upcoming K-Pop idol survival show “Under 19”

Upcoming MBC idol survival show “Under 19” has recently revealed its contestants, and a Filipino has made it to the list!

The show gathers 57 teens under 19 years old, which are split into three areas of specialization—vocal, rap, and performance. They will be mentored by star directors and will then go through challenges to become part of the final nine members that will debut as an idol group.

The Pinoy contestant in question is none other than Christian, who is listed as part of the Performance team. He will be mentored by choreographer Hwang San Hoon and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk.

Prior to joining “Under 19”, Christian uploads his covers of K-Pop songs on his YouTube channel as Chunghee. His most recent cover is of “Baby Don’t Stop” by NCT U.

Christian has also covered songs by idol groups like BTS, GOT7, and MONSTA X. You may check his YouTube channel here.

“Under 19” is set to air its first episode on November 3 at 6p.m. KST. We wish Christian the best of luck!
