The announcement caught many fans off-guard. It has been one of the longest-operating themed coffee places. As of writing time, there is no explanation posted as to why the shop closed down. Subspace opened in June 2011 in Ortigas Center and was most popular for its signature purple latte. Opening at the early years of the popularity of K-Pop in the country, Subspace has become one of the most well-known cafe joints for many Korean pop culture fans. Since its opening, it has hosted several K-Pop events and small gatherings in the metro.
Thank you Subspace for wonderful seven years! We will surely miss you.
