KOR government on the lookout for new King Sejong-designated Korean language centers abroad

King Sejong Institute, the brand name of Korean-language institutes established by the South Korean government, is once again on the lookout to certify Korean language institutes around the world.

The Korean Cultural Center of the Philippines (KCC) released yesterday the application guidelines for New King Sejong Institute designations for 2019.

Qualified applicants include those organizations that plan to operate a Korean language center in a government agency, a university or graduate school, or a college-affiliated institution in their country. Nonprofit and private organizations are also welcome to apply.

Korean language centers that will be designated by the KingSejong Institute will receive funds directly from the foundation. For full details of the application guidelines, visit KCC’s page here.
