University of the Philippines to hold Korean film fest

The University of the Philippines will be holding the 2019 U.P. Korean Film Festival from March 13 to 15 at the UP Film Institute – Film Center. The film festival is in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the bilateral relations between Korea and the Philippines.

The following films will be screened:

Mar 13 (Wednesday)

6:00 PM – Opening Film: Masquerade (광해: 왕이 된 남자)

Mar 14 (Thursday)

2:30 PM – Miracle in Cell No. 7 (7번 방의 선물)

5:00 PM – Sunny (써니)

7:30 PM – Poetry (시)

Mar 15 (Friday)

2:30 PM – Fish Out of Water (플라워혼) + Lecture

5:00 PM – Oldboy (올드보이)

7:30 PM – In Between Days (방황의 날들)

The screenings are free of charge and open to the public. Those who are interested will have to register here.

The 2019 U.P. Korean Film Festival is organized by the UP Korea Research Center in partnership with the UP Film Institute and the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines.
