LOOK: PIA encourages K-Pop fans to use lightstick for Earth Hour

The Philippine Information Agency (PIA), the official public information arm of the government, turns to K-Pop fans as they promote Earth Hour on March 30!

In a post on March 28, the PIA asked K-Pop fangirls and fanboys to turn off their lights on March 30 and use their lightsticks instead between 8:30 and 9:30 PM for Earth Hour. It featured four lightsticks of four different K-Pop groups: GOT7, Blackpink, BTS, and EXO.

The post has gone viral with 1.9 thousand likes and 3.3 thousand shares as of writing time.

The caption is, well, quite a bit of a harsh truth but why not put our lightsticks to good use and beyond concerts, right?
