Filipino Inner Circles were out in the sun to enjoy a grand K-Pop fans’ day with Oreo!

The day is especially meant for the fans of WINNER, who recently partnered with the world-popular cookie sandwich and became its newest brand ambassador.

Armed with their lightsticks and banners, Inseos who attended the fans day at Eastwood Mall Open Grounds last April 16 were given the chance to win a three-day trip to South Korea and meet WINNER by buying specially marked Oreo products at the site. They also snagged exclusive merchandise, such as headphones, plushies, tote bags, jackets, phone rings, and Oreo goodie bags by participating at the games onstage.

The event was made more exciting by performances from AC Bonifacio, Jinho Bae, and LMN Dance Crew.

Dance Kids champ AC, who heated up the dance floor with her cover of BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” recalled working with Fil-Am K-pop idol Kriesha Chu.

“I got to kind of collab with Kriesha Chu and she’s so nice and humble! She’s telling me about the industry and all these other K-pop artists,” AC said, who is an artist under Star Magic.

She also announced an upcoming single, which she has finished recording!

Meanwhile, South Korean OPM singer Jinho, who serenaded the crowd with hits like Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips” and Goblin OST “Beautiful,” told KStreetManila how grateful he is at the recognition the Korean culture is getting in the Philippines and globally.

Asked which Korean song would he like a Filipino version of, he picked “Wild Flower” by Park Hyo Shin.

“K-ballad po siya and sobrang poetic. Ang ibig sabihin po kasi nung song… ang pag-ibig parang weather, parang spring; it comes and fades. I think that’s a really good song ‘pag in Tagalog,” Jinho said.

LMN Dance Crew, one of the groups that made the Philippines known in the international hip-hop community, grooved to songs by BTS and BLACKPINK. These are also the K-Pop groups they would like to collaborate with if given the chance!

As this is the first time the group danced to K-Pop, member Chase observed, “With K-Pop, there’s a lot more energy… there’s this one common theme about it na happy vibe siya.”

Member Kat also shared her love of OG groups like Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, and 2NE1.
