Pinoy K-Pop Star returns; winner to represent PH in South Korea

The annual Pinoy K-Pop Star is returning this year and application has already begun.

The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines is now accepting applications for the 2019 Pinoy K-Pop Star, an annual competition for Filipino performers who wish to experience the K-Pop life in South Korea. The application period runs from May 23 to June 13.

The competition is the Philippine finals for the 2019 Changwon K-POP World Festival which will be held from September 30 to October 13, 2019 in Changwon, South Korea.

The competition is divided into two categories, vocal or the singing competition and performance or the vocal and dance competition.

The Philippine final competition will be held at Samsung Hall, SM Aura on July 27, while the Changwon finals will be on October 11. For more information, visit the KCC Philippines’ official website.
