WATCH: GOT7 Jackson learns, reacts to what “pangit” means

GOT7’s Jackson finally learns what “panget” means and he seems to…not take it too lightly!

On May 23, members Youngjae, Jackson, and Jinyoung went live on their VLIVE channel. In a section of the stream, Jackson revealed that some of his Filipino friends called him “pangit“—”ugly” in Tagalog—but he did not know what it actually means.

He said at 10:04, “Filipino IGOT7, [isa, dalawa, tatlo], a lot of my Filipino friends call me ‘pangit.” I don’t know what it is. I think it’s not something very nice.”

IOT7s who were watching the stream of course told him what the word means. At 11:51, Jackson reads in Korean, “JACKSON, pangit means ugly.” He carried on telling the same story in Korean to Youngjae and Jackson. “My friend always…My Filipino friends call me pangit. That means I am ugly.”

Youngjae and Jinyoung then laughed at him!

Jackson furthered, “I will sever my relationship from today.”

This was not the first time Jackson has mentioned something Filipino related. In an “interview” with fellow member Mark, Jackson mentioned that his first relationship was with a Spanish-Australian-Filipino girl.

We all know Jackson’s Filipino friends are just kidding because, Jackson? Ugly? He will never be ugly!
