The 66th Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) officially begun accepting applications last July 10.
According to the Korean Cultural Center of the Philippines (KCC), the TOPIK application period for the second half of 2019 will end on July 31. The exam is scheduled for October 20, and the results will be released on November 28.
TOPIK is designed for non-native Korean speakers for whom Korean is a foreign language. These can be for those who want to evaluate their understanding of the Korean language, those who want to enter a Korean university, who are seeking employment in Korea or in a Korean company, or who are planning to obtain permanent residency in Korea.
