The internationally acclaimed Korean film Parasite is set to premiere in Philippine cinemas.
The announcement was made by SM Cinema, which posted on their social media that the film will open on August 14.
From the award-winning director of Snowpiercer and Okja, Bong Joon-Ho, comes a critically-acclaimed dark comedy that won the highest award at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. #PARASITE opens AUGUST 14, exclusively in SM Cinema.

Parasite is a dark-comedy drama directed by Bong Joon Ho, who directed The Host and Snowpiercer, two of the highest-grossing films of all time in South Korea. The film stars Song Kang Ho (A Taxi Driver), Lee Sun Kyun (Paju), Choi Yeo Jeong (Ms. Perfect), Choi Wooshik (Train to Busan), and Park So Dam (Cinderella with Four Knights).
The film won the Palme d’Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, becoming the first Korean film to receive the highest award at the prestigious film festival.
