Her name Sori means “sound” in English. Once you start listening, you’ll hear the beautiful sound she makes. Before making her debut, she joined Superstar K 3 in 2011 and The Voice of Korea Season 2 in 2013. Along with her sweet vocals, she is a lyricist, composer, and arranger.

SOLE (쏠) made her debut with “RIDE,” featuring fellow singer-songwriter THAMA on November 3, 2017 under Devine Channel as its first artist and only female member. The track was written by SOLE and THAMA and is about going outside and having fun. Devine Channel is a production team that has worked on tracks such as BTS’ “Fire,” EXO-SC’s “What a Life,” and Kang Daniel’s “What are you up to.”

Her next single “Slow” was released on July 13, 2018, reminding its listeners to take a break when things get tough.

Her first EP, How we live, consists of five tracks and was released on June 26, 2019 under the ‘Chord Share’ project between Amoeba Culture and Devine Channel. She is the second artist to be featured in the project. The first one was THAMA, with whom she collaborated with on the song “Same,” the first track in the EP.

The title track is “LOVIN’ U,” featuring rapper pH-1, and the song is about being unsure of how the person you like really feels. She also played the piano for “Heum”, the last track on the EP.

She has been featured on other artists’ tracks, such as Jooyoung’s “First”, Gaeko’s “Vacation,” THAMA’s 2G Love, with Crush on Dynamic Duo’s “Blue,” and Brown Eyed Soul’s “Right.”

Bonus: Just in time for the Christmas season, here’s her cover of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You:”
