To thank her idols for the happiness they have been giving her for almost 12 years, Clarette Faye Viz opened ELFinitea, a Super Junior-themed milk tea shop located in Baler, Aurora.
“I wanted to dedicate this café to Super Junior members [who are] active and not [sic] for thanking them for giving me happiness and also to all ELFs that [are] still supporting them.” Clarette said in an email interview. She adds that she also wants to introduce K-Pop to her customers as there are not much fans in Baler.
Clarette mentioned that her parents, her boyfriend, and her late best friend have been very supportive in her dream of opening ELFinitea. She shares that she has a shop in her father’s hometown of Casiguran although not as big as her new shop.
Apart from various milk tea flavors, the shop also offers combo meals that are named after the individual fan names of SJ members. Clarette mentioned that their best seller is Shins Friends, a combo meal that includes spaghetti, lumpiang shanghai, and a medium-sized milk tea.
She further adds that she will open a branch in Quezon City if the shop becomes a hit, but for now, “focus muna po dito sa Baler.”
In her ending message, Clarette encourages all her fellow ELF to do whatever they like and to do whatever makes them happy, just like how her love and craziness for Super Junior inspired her to open her new shop. She also invites all her fellow ELF to visit ELFinitea so that they can all fangirl and fanboy over their idols together.
“Just spread our [love] and good vibes to everyone ELFs or not. See you all to all upcoming Super Shows here in the Philippines,” she said.
