Cha Eunwoo Enchants Filipinos in Less than “Just One 10 Minutes”

If meeting Cha Eunwoo is what all ten minutes feel like, then we’d want to have all the ten minutes in the world!

Actor and Astro member Cha Eunwoo delighted PH Arohas and everyone in attendance for his first solo fanmeeting in the country last October 26 at the New Frontier Theater. And here’s a recap of all the great things about that night.

Eunwoo entered the stage as Lee Rim, his character from “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,” complete with the actual hanbok he wore at the set (the actor revealed later on). After a beautiful performance of his song from the same drama, the fan event went back down memory lane from the first time Eunwoo graced the TV screen as a highschooler participating in “Golden Bell” to his current endeavors that made him one of the most promising actors of this generation. He answered questions impressively, all the while giving us facts! Like how he played basketball with strangers when he stayed in the Philippines in 4th grade, and how often he cooks ramyun for his members at the dorm.

Aside from revealing interesting facts about him, Eunwoo recreated some of his popular drama scenes which made the fans go wild. Not just all brains, he also showed off his brawn with actual ball games! He also created two dream catchers that he gave away to fans to wade off their nightmares, capping that part of the event with his natural sweetness and genuine care for his fans.

Proving himself a multi-talented artist, Eunwoo performed his own OST tracks, an Astro song, and to everyone’s surprise, a Tagalog song: Ben & Ben’s “Kathang Isip”! He said that he especially researched about a popular song that everyone will enjoy, and luckily he came across it. Asking the audience if it was a popular song, the fans replied with a resounding “yes!” and it made him really glad.

Aside from saying local words like “mahal kita” and “pak na pak,” Eunwoo impressively took the time to prepare a song for his Filipino fans. He concluded his fanmeet with the promise that he will come back, hopefully with his group Astro in tow. He repeatedly thanked Filipino Arohas for the passion and encouragement they gave him, and that he will definitely remember this moment once he returns to Korea.

We would like to thank Wilbros Live for letting us share this wonderful day with Cha Eunwoo and the rest of the PH Arohas.
