Indeed, Super Junior paved the way for K-Pop internationally alongside other older generation groups. But little do you know, they’re also trendsetters. From music videos to music show performances, concerts, and not to mention, airport fashion – but let’s just leave it there and move on.
14 years of cringe-worthy style, I looked back, smiled, and relived their best looks through the years before the much-awaited release of their 9th full album, Time Slip.
Listed below are 9 of my top picks among SJ’s looks since their debut in 2005.
Kids, baby ELFs, life couldn’t get better without MIRACLE!
Young SJ captured our hearts with their trucker hats, cargo pants, and layered polos. We think it’s cute and adorable – insert Kibum’s visual and we’re done.
Then, there goes DON’T DON. Who would have thought that these pretty boys can change their style in just a snap? They’ve experimented new looks with an influence of punk and hip-hop to make our mind outta control!
The statement? Check out the Red-head, drop-dead gorgeous Heechul!
Sleek and chic in their signature Black suit and the famous rubbing hands choreography, SORRY, SORRY changed K-Pop forever. Nuff said.
Heartbeat… Heartbeat… Heartbeat… And you felt the pain.
Against an old cinematic backdrop, IT’S YOU gave us mixture of soft pastel and earthy-toned ensemble that made us feel like we’re watching a romantic yet heartbreaking film.
It was the era when we all went nuts and wrecked our bias list, *coughs* Lee Teuk! The first time they literally flexed their muscular prowess.
BONAMANA has proven us that monochromatic aesthetic is the real definition of sexy!
I know what you’re thinking, because you naughty, naughty! This is not about Siwon’s cover! *smirked*
MR. SIMPLE is all about color blocking! SJ’s bold and bright outfits in this single brought back their fun and playful personalities.
Category is… Bullfighter realness!
SJ was dressed to kill in MAMACITA. They were ready to attract every woman in their Red suits and pants with rich and luxurious embroidery and Gold embellishments.
ONE MORE CHANCE
Two years later, we finally got ONE MORE CHANCE to see SJ on stage!
These men, now in their 30s, displayed a more mature style with warm-colored pullover sweaters and muted tone jackets and pants.
LO SIENTO served Latin roots on the table. SJ celebrated pops of colors, burst of flavors, and hints of playful patterns as they conquer Latin America and the rest of the world.
As we all know, SJ hates SPY. But what can we do? We can’t resist this James Bond-inspired style!
A timeless and sophisticated wardrobe which will surely make ladies and even gents fall for it!
How about you? What’s your personal favorite SJ looks? Tag us and let us know what you think!
