When asked how he felt seeing his videos went viral, he said that the reception was unexpected.
At first, I was very shocked, but at the same time, I am grateful. I did not expect my video to go viral. I am so overwhelmed that many of my fellow K-Pop fans can relate to my videos because I made them remember the good ol’ days of K-Pop. It was nostalgic.
A third-year college student taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management, Aaron shared that he decided to do the videos out of boredom.
I was bored that time. I also have this personality that when I’m bored I make relatable videos or vines to make myself productive. I dream to become successful and funny viner some day.
Being exposed to hits familiar to so-called Titos and Titas of K-Pop, Aaron’s exposure to K-Pop began in high school with a classmate playing Girls’ Generation‘s Oh!
It’s been 10 years since I discovered K-Pop, but the first year was only an introductory phase for me. So I can say that it had been nine years since I became a fan. I started as a fan of Girls’ Geneeration, until later, I discovered other groups like SISTAR. I fell in love with their music, especially their song, Loving U. My ultimate bias is Soyou.
There seems to be no stopping Aaron as he continues to produce funny and relatable K-Pop content such as that of related to mostly related to TWICE. But if given the chance to do more content, Aaron would want to do more.
I would love to show my artistic side when it comes to fashion and lifestyle in the near future. But that doesn’t mean that I am going to quit being a K-Pop fan, because that was how I was recognized. Hallyu is always in my heart.
Thank you, Aaron, for letting us interview you!
