VICTON ends Asia tour on a high note in Manila

December 21 marked the final stop of VICTON’s Voice to Alice Asia Tour, and it ended with a bang.

The day was special to both VICTON and Filipino Alice because this was the first time that the group visited the country. In fact, VICTON confessed that they were nervous because they didn’t know how they’ll be accepted by the fans.

Those worries were put to rest.

From the dimming of the lights up until VICTON took their bows, the screams by Filipino Alice never wavered. SM Skydome was almost full, proof that VICTON is well-loved by Pinoys.

The screams and cheers were so consistent that it was clear in each members’ faces that they were pleasantly surprised with the reception.

“I thought the weather was hot, but [Filipino] Alices are hotter!” main rapper Hanse said.

VICTON was lovable through and through.

Whether you came there as a long-time VICTON fan or to get to know them after learning about them in Produce X 101, you’ll come home loving them even more.

Fans got to know the group in a series of segments—from the selfies and photos they took of each other to a Q&A portion in which VICTON answered questions from fans.

The group even showed their funny side through a VCR in which they had to do an ASMR challenge.

The performances were mesmerizing, too.

VICTON performed five songs during the main fan meeting.

They begun with “What time is it now,” a funky and upbeat song that’s perfect for exciting Alice for the next couple of hours.

The group also showed their softer side with the ballad “Farewell,” from their latest EP.

But it was “Gangsta” and “New World” that earned the loudest cheers, showing VICTON their best dancing moves and their more mature side.

To cap off the fan meeting, VICTON performed their latest single, “Nostalgic Night.”

Fans wanted more, and VICTON was sure to give them what they want. They came back for the encore to sing “Because of You,” a love song.

And with the final song, “Light,” VICTON and Alice mutually declare to each other that they’ll be each other’s light.

VICTON will never forget Filipino Alice.

The warmth VICTON received from Filipino Alice made the night unforgettable for them.

“I want to memorize everything [Filipino] Alice has given us,” Sejun said.

“Every time we perform, we know Alice are happy, so we are happy too! Thank you for your cheers and support. You are all cute and beautiful!” said Subin.

As VICTON depart to prepare for their first concert in Seoul, they clearly left with happy memories and with the hope that they’ll see their Filipino Alice again soon.
