17 Songs to Jam to Before Ode to You in Manila

One more month until we see SEVENTEEN for their Ode to You tour in Manila! Are you excited?

As we approach D-Day, we have come up with a list of 17 (get it?) songs you can jam to as you wait for the boys to arrive!

#1: Getting Closer

SEVENTEEN went for a dark and mature image that Carats around the world welcomed. The song’s intense hip-hop sounds will bring out the angst in you.

#2: CLAP

If that crunchy electronic guitar sound at the beginning doesn’t get you hyped up, we don’t know what will. Don’t forget to clap along when SEVENTEEN tells you!

SEVENTEEN always makes sure to thank Carats for their support, and this synth song will surprisingly warm your heart. And probably make you feel emotional.

#4: Home

“Cause you’re my home”? Yup, this sweet, R&B urban fusion a heartstring-tugger, alright.

#5: Don’t Wanna Cry

I’m personally looking forward to this song because they didn’t include it at their IDEAL CUT setlist. Get ready to actually cry, even if you don’t wanna. (See what I did there?)

#6: TRAUMA (Hip-Hop Team)

This song has established itself as one of Hip-Hop Team’s best tracks. From Vernon’s agitated autotune rap to Mingyu’s vocals (!!!), this is one track to look forward to. Prayer circle sa may mga bias sa Hip-Hop Team (me included).

#7: Lilili Yabbay (Performance Team)

SEVENTEEN’s performance unit is all about experimentation, and what better way to show off that brand by with an experimental track?

#8: Hug (Vocal Team)

Not gonna lie, I’m more partial to the vocal team’s more hugot-inducing songs, but Hug, though short, feels like sitting at home with a warm cup of chocolate on your hands.

#9: Smile Flower

As a song that holds a special meaning for SEVENTEEN and Carats, tears will be shed when this song starts playing.

#10: Adore U

Ah, their debut song. This fun song will surely get you out of a bad mood.

#11: Pretty U

“Pretty U” is youthful and summery that guarantees kiligs for every listening. You might want to watch their dance practice video, because their choreography’s just so hypnotizing!

#12: Oh My!

The entire melody of this song will make you smile all throughout. And the cute choreography? Yup.

#13: Crazy in Love

If the song is addictive enough, wait till you watch their performance.

#14: Good to Me

This would have been a great title track. SEVENTEEN pulls off this mature (and sexy) song so effortlessly.

#15: HIT

This is such an energetic and aggressive song that it’s such an amazing bop!

#16: Holiday

This summery and upbeat song will make you feel good about your day, whether it’s already good or maybe not-so good.

#17: Very Nice

No SEVENTEEN concert is complete without this energetic song! Expect them to do repeat the chorus throughout the end of the concert, making you wonder where the boys got their source of energy after a long night.

Excited to see SEVENTEEN in Manila? Catch them at their Ode to You tour on February 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Official ticketing starts on January 12.

This concert is presented by PULP Live World.
