Eric Nam on touring Asia: “Manila was kind of insane”

Looks like Filipino fans have left quite an impression on another Korean artist, this time, it’s singer-songwriter Eric Nam!

In his recent interview with Yahoo TV during the Singapore leg of his “Before We Begin” World Tour, Nam was asked what are the differences he has observed between touring in Asia and in America. He said, “It really depends on the city and the country but I think in general, Asian audiences tend to be a little more reserved when it comes to kind of partying at the concert.” He was almost about to conclude his answer when he followed it up with, “But Manila was an exception. Manila was kind of insane in terms of like, people just singing every single song.

Nam had already noted after his Manila stop for the same tour that the Manila crowd was “wild” and that he was grateful “for the love and for getting sweaty” with him. Nam came to Manila last January 10.
