SEVENTEEN cancels world tour, Manila becomes last stop

K-Pop boy group SEVENTEEN cancelled the remainder of their “Ode To You” World Tour stops amid the nCoV outbreak, making Manila its last stop.

In a notice posted on SEVENTEEN’s social media, Pledis Entertainment, SEVENTEEN’s company, cancelled the group’s February and March world tour stops “due to the on-going coronavirus outbreak.”

“As the health and safety of the artist, audience and staff is our top priority, we made this decision to prevent any potential harm,” they said. This cancels the remaining stops in Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Madrid, Paris, London, and Berlin. This also, therefore, makes SEVENTEEN’s concert in Manila last night, February 8, the last city to have the concert.

SEVENTEEN held their Manila concert at the Mall of Asia Arena, managing to push through despite the nCoV outbreak. The organizer and promoter, PULP Live World, deployed medical teams at the venue to check concert goers.
