The Philippine government has partially lifted its travel ban that prohibited Filipino tourists from traveling to South Korea.
However, the travel ban still remains in the North Gyeongsang Province, which includes Daegu City and Cheongdo County.
Filipinos who will be traveling to other parts of South Korea are required to sign a declaration, indicating that they understand the risks involved in their trip. They will also be given a health advisory pamphlet upon their departure to Korea.
South Korea remains the second country that is most infected with COVID-19. As of March 1, there are 3,500 reported cases in the country.
