After a series of postponements, the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) in the Philippines may finally push through as the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in the Philippines and the National Institute for International Education released the details for the 72nd TOPIK scheduled on October 18, 2020.
Applications for the 72nd TOPIK will be from July 13 to 18, and must be made in person at the KCC office (28F Spaces, World Plaza Building, 5th Avenue, BGC, Taguig City). Strict COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines will be implemented, hence, individuals with 1) no face masks, 2) body temperature of 37.6°C and up, 3) showing signs of cough and cold, and/or 4) deliberately disobeying physical distancing and protocol shall be prohibited from entering the building.
In an earlier notice, those who have applied for the postponed 70th TOPIK and have not requested for refund will be considered for the 72nd TOPIK.

It should be noted that the 72nd TOPIK may still be postponed should the Philippine government issue new advisories and restrictions in response to COVID-19. Announcements shall be made through KCC website and its social media pages.
