“Hello Stranger” stars Tony Labrusca, JC Alcantara are K-Pop fans!

We have one more reason to fall for the leading stars of the on-going popular Pinoy boys love (BL) series “Hello Stranger” Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara as both aren’t just talented, good-looking actors (who look good together, too, to be quite honest) but are also K-Pop fans!

In separate instances on their respective social media accounts, Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara revealed that they are fans of K-Pop idol groups, with Labrusca being a fan of EXO, GOT7, and TWICE, and Alcantara liking ASTRO.

In one of his Instagram lives last June 4, Labrusca said he liked K-Pop and he said that he used to be a massive fan of EXO, GOT7, and TWICE, although he’s not as much as “hardcore” as before. He also revealed that his EXO bias is Kai. Then on July 12, he replied to a fan saying he is “a faithful EXO-L and ONCE.”

JC Alcantara, on the other hand, recently shared a TikTok video on Twitter where he dances to ASTRO’s “All Night.” The video was first shared on his TikTok account last year.

When asked who his bias is in ASTRO, Alcantara said that he has started liking Eunwoo after watching the K-Drama series “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty.”

Labrusca and Alcantara are the main characters in Black Sheep’s first digital boys love series “Hello Stranger.” The show talks about the love and friendship between two Filipino college boys, Mico (Alcantara), a nerdy student, and Xavier (Labrusca), a basketball varsity player, after they were forced to be partners for a school project.

“Hello Stranger” is available for free on Black Sheep’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. New episodes air every Wednesday, 8:30 PM, and the show is, as of writing time, in its fourth episode.

Dan Gambe
Dan is born in the 90’s who talks a lot when he writes. He has a love-hate relationship with writing, is fond of cats, and thinks mangoes are the key to world peace. The chances of him phonezoning you lie between 80 to 90 per cent, but he’ll speak to you if you speak to him so don’t be shy!
