Pinoy artists are once joining the international stage as James Reid and Curtismith are set to participate in the international virtual music festival OVERPASS on September 26.
OVERPASS, a music festival originally scheduled to premiere in California, will debut as an online concert and will star K-Pop and other international artists, including those from the Philippines! James Reid and Curtismith will perform alongside EXO’s Baekhyun, WINNER’s Minho, and Korean singer-rapper-producer Gray. Other artists in the lineup include Yuna (Malaysia), Phum Viphurit (Thailand), Joy Crookes (England), and SOSUPERSAM (United States).
OVERPASS aims to create a platform to feature international artists with an emphasis on hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul, especially those with roots from Asia. Organizers promise full-staging production with each act performing sets of approximately 20-30 minutes.
Tickets cost $8, with a ticket and merch bundle available for $90. A portion of the procees will go to Project Hope, although fans can also head to OVERPASS’s website and select their own custom donation.
OVERPASS will be on September 26, 11PM KST (10PM Philippine Time).
