#KStreetPicks: 5 Of BLACKPINK’s Best Looks Since Debut

The name ‘BLACKPINK’ screams high-end fashion. Ask any K-Pop fan and they’ll say that the group is one of the top style icons in the Korean entertainment industry.

We always see their collaboration with Korean and international luxury brands that mirror their chic image and impeccable taste; Jennie with Chanel and Gentle Monster; Jisoo with Dior, Burberry, and Cartier; Rosé with Saint Laurent and Omega; and Lisa with Celine and Bvlgari.

As the girls celebrate their 4th anniversary this month (and jam to their collab single with Selena Gomez), we looked back on their best MV styles and picked our top 5 favorites.

BLACKPINK’s wardrobe in this single gave them a youthful and carefree vibe. If you think “As If It’s Your Last” was styled just like any other schoolgirl-themed MVs, check again its B-rolls where fun colors and bold patterns lie.

The statement:

Lisa’s pink satin boots by Vetements x Manolo Blahnik

Jennie’s metallic floral jacquard mini skirt by Gucci

Jisoo’s fringed printed cotton and silk-blend mini dress by Anna Sui

Rosé’s heart-print twill mini dress by House of Holland

What we love about “Whistle” is that they collaborated with South Korean designer brands such as YCH, Pushbutton, JKOO, and Kye to show off what true K-Style is. It’s edgy but feminine. It’s dark but romantic. It’s bad but sweet.

The statement:

Jisoo’s black mini dress by Pushbutton

Jennie’s pink cropped jacket and shorts by Moschino

Lisa’s black baby doll dress by Saint Laurent

Rosé’s pink velvet polo shirt by JKOO

They don’t care about the hate. Our girls brought out their badass chic, girl crush concept in “Ddu Du Ddu Du.” The word ‘stylish’ is already an understatement to describe this era because the truth is they’re exquisite.

The statement:

Rosé’s Tessie lace midi dress by Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and black spiral 110 leather sandals by Y/Project

Lisa’s pink blazer & trouser by 1017 ALYX 9SM and pink knife spandex sock boots by Balenciaga

Jennie’s rainbow-striped chiffon gown and rainbow corset belt by Dolce & Gabbana

Jisoo’s Sandra Brant t-shirt by Calvin Klein x Andy Warhol

BLACKPINK wears luxury from head to toe because their not just queens in “Kill This Love,” they are love war goddesses! Their Tomb Raider-inspired wardrobe stands out the most, making them look courageous and dangerous at the same time. It’s very empowering.

The statement:

Jennie’s Mecha crop top by Me Dic AL and leather gloves by Chanel

Rosé’s yellow dress by Alexander McQueen

Jisoo’s metallic lamé gown by Givenchy

Lisa’s bustier dress by Celine and Swarovski-encrusted glasses by Givenchy

To answer BLACKPINK’s question, WE DON’T LIKE THAT. WE LOVE THAT! At this point, expensive looks are already given. What we love so much about “How You Like That” is that the girls were able to promote the Korean culture when they wore modernized bespoke hanbok (traditional Korean clothes) made by the Seoul fashion brand, Danha.

The statement:

Lisa’s tulle gown and military vest & pants by Off-White

Jisoo’s pointelle lace midi dress by Alexander McQueen

Rosé’s black swan dress by Bridal Kong

Jennie’s white top by Chanel, denim dungarees by M.Y.O.B., and gloss leather walker boots by Open The Door

What about you, Blinks? What’s your favorite BLACKPINK look?
