BTS could be Smart’s newest endorser, report says

K-Pop global superstar BTS reportedly signed up as the newest endorser for Philippine telecom giant Smart.

In a report posted by Rappler, according to their “well-placed sources” that BTS will be Smart’s newest face for the network’s Christmas campaign. Rappler has reached out to Smart for confirmation but they have yet to receive a response as of writing time.

If this is true, this will be Smart’s biggest endorsement after signing up Korean actors and “Crash Landing on You” stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin as their brand ambassadors.

This isn’t the first time BTS became endorsers of a brand in Southeast Asia. Last year, they became Indonesian startup unicorn Tokopedia’s brand ambassador.

The last time BTS were in the Philippines was in 2017 for their Wings tour.
