It’s another first for P-Pop group SB19 as they debut on Billboard’s LyricFind Global Chart at #1!
The five-member all-Pinoy group entered the chart with their song “Alab (Burning).” This is the first time a Filipino artist has topped this chart.
Aside from this, SB19 also entered the LyricFind U.S. chart at #6.
The Billboard LyricFind Global Chart ranks the top trending lyric searches through LyricFind, the world’s leader in licensed lyrics.
This isn’t the first time the group has entered a Billboard charts. In April this year, they entered the top 5 of the Billboard Social 50, eventually peaking at #2 in August. They have also made it to the Billboard’s Next Big Sound.
SB19 is the first P-Pop group trained under a Korean entertainment company. They rose to popularity in 2019 and since then has become one of the biggest P-Pop artists in the country.
An earlier version stated that SB19 peaked at #3 on the Billboard Social 50. This has been since corrected.
