WATCH: BLACKPINK’s Lisa speaks Filipino slang

“Hey bes. I have some chika.”

This is just one of the many Filipino slang words and phrases BLACKPINK’s Lisa learned during her interview on the very first episode of Penshoppe TV.

Lisa answered questions from fans, ranging from her favorite hairstyle to her favorite moments during her trainee days. She also talked about her go-to outfit and her wish to visit the Chocolate Hills in Bohol and Sorsogon to swim with the whale sharks.

But of course, the best part is Lisa using the common Filipino slang words as part of her challenge. Aside from “kamusta” and “salamat”, Lisa successfully used “sana all”, “lodi”, and “keri” to name a few, in her sentences like a true blue Filipino. Twitter user @_nitrojen has compiled all of it in a Tweet:

As of this writing, #LisaOnPenshoppeTVTODAY has topped the Philippine trends.

Last year, Lisa became the face of the local clothing brand alongside Sandara Park and Nam Joo Hyuk.
