WATCH: YouTuber Jessica Lee’s Filipino market visit, YouTube revenue to go to typhoon victims in the Philippines

K-Pop idol-turned-YouTuber Jessica Lee finally gets to visit the Filipino market at Hyehwa!

In the description of her video, she says, “I will be donating 100% of my November YouTube revenue to support the victims of the typhoons in the Philippines. This means that if you watch my videos fully and share it with your friends, it will be a great way to contribute to the donation. Thank you!”

As Jessica wanders around with her friend and fellow YouTuber Sylvia Kim, she expresses excitement at seeing all the familiar food and things she has come to love during her stay in the Philippines, such as adobo, chicken inasal, suman, and turon. Admittedly, she was also shocked at how expensive Filipino goods are over there compared to how much they cost in the Philippines.

In fact, one of the stalls they visited was the one where Sandara Park ate at in her Filipino market vlog! That’s eventually where they chose to eat, with the ates and kuyas of the place gamely recommending what Sandara ate during her visit last October.

Jessica also got a few familiar snacks and desserts from the Filipino market, promising a separate video for her Filipino market haul. One of the stall owners reveals that she came from Bacolod City, where Jessica lived for four years.
