MOMOLAND’s Nancy congratulates BFF Charlie Dizon for Best Actress Win

Rising star Charlie Dizon is on her way to being showbiz’s latest it girl. People can’t stop talking about her comedic performance in “Four Sisters Before the Wedding” and her chilling performance in the award-winning film “Fan Girl”.

Dizon was recently awarded as Best Actress in the MMFF 2020 Gabi ng Parangal for her performance in “Fan Girl”, and there is no other person prouder than her good friend MOMOLAND’s Nancy.

The two go way back when they trained as K-pop idols in South Korea in their early teens. In a previous live broadcast, Nancy revealed that she was 11 years old when they first met.

This year’s MMFF was online so Nancy was able to watch and support her friend. She posted an Instagram Story congratulating Dizon for her award with the message: “I am so proud and impressed with your performance. You are amazing, Charlie. You deserve Best Actress. Congratulations.”

We hope these two friends get to reunite soon!

Nancy and the rest of MOMOLAND are wrapping up promotions for their latest single “Ready or Not”. Nancy’s upcoming Filipino drama “Soulmate Project” is said to push through in 2021. Meanwhile, viewers can still watch “Fan Girl” and the other MMFF entries on Upstream and GMovies.
