The newest P-Pop group in town, Alamat, just dropped the music video for their debut song “kbye”!
Alamat is a 9-member P-Pop group composed of talented Filipino boys hailing from different provinces of the country. Handled by Viva Artist Agency, the group’s concept aims “to celebrate Filipino culture and diversity in the mainstream media through their music while taking inspiration from the K-Pop formula.”

Indeed, the music video showcases a lot of Filipino elements, from the shimmering banderitas of our fiestas to the “hari ng kalsada” jeepney, from the capiz windows to the gulaman jugs, Alamat’s “kbye”, with lyrics incorporating different Filipino languages, stays true to the group’s concept.
What do you think of the MV? Let us know in the comments section below!
I love everything that ALAMAT represents. Down from their choice of drip (clothes), hair colors, use of different Filipino languages, such attributes scream diversity! And it’s true, Pinoys are diverse!
Personally, I love Taneo’s drips, and I’m in love with Mo! Mo’s swag is on the roof!
The song is so cooool! kbye reminds me a little bit of Han Seungwoo’s Reply and DKB’s Work Hard, but Filipinized (lol is that even a word). It’s so catchy and groovy! I love it! I love the camera works of the video, too! Hopefully soon Viva will invest more expensive and colorful sets. Soon!
Mga Magiliw unite! Let’s make ALAMAT successful! They truly deserve it!
