Producer releases vlog on how he made SB19’s “What?”

SB19 just recently released their comeback song “What?” which was an immediate hit, reaching over a million views in less than 24 hours. But ever wondered what went in the production of this iconic P-Pop song?

Simon Servida, a Filipino-Canadian producer, released a vlog, telling us how he produced the song for the top P-Pop group in the country right now.

In the vlog, Servida said that it was quite a challenge because of the tempo changes and complexity of the song. He also revealed how SB19’s leader Pablo (formerly Sejun) actively participated in the production, providing feedback to him every now and then.

The vlog may seem a little technical, but Serviva explained the production process in detail, going to the songs parts bit by bit as he incorporated Pablo’s comments and suggestions.

SB19 released their comeback song and MV “What?” on March 9. As of writing time, it has over 1.9 million views.
