Korea to remake “Ang Probinsyano”

The Philippines’ longest-running drama series will hit Korean TV soon as “Ang Probinsyano” will get a Korean remake!

Although no specific details have been released yet, several news reports revealed that talks are ongoing between a Korean production agency and ABS-CBN Entertainment on how the remake will go. It is expected to be released in 2022.

Whether the Korean version will be as long as the Filipino original is yet to be known.

“Ang Probinsyano” is a 2015 action drama led by Coco Martin and is based on the 1997 film of the same name starring the late Fernando Poe, Jr.
